Action Plan
The Wellington Regional Action Plan for Refugee Health and Wellbeing is a collaboration of refugee-background communities, NGOs and government agencies. The Action Plan identifies the services needed to support refugees to resettle successfully in the Wellington region.
It is organised in eight priority areas:
- Economic Wellbeing
- Education and Training
- Family Reunification
- Health
- Housing
- Safety and Security
- Strengthening Community
- Youth
Each of these areas has a lead agency responsible for developing detailed plans for each action and following up on progress.
The Action Plan is updated each year as actions are completed and new actions added.
