What we do

ChangeMakers Refugee Forum makes a positive contribution to resettlement and helps to build sustainable refugee-background communities in the Wellington region by:

  • listening and responding to issues identified by refugee-background communities 

  • supporting the interconnectivity of refugee communities

  • ulitising the knowledge and experiences of refugee-background communities and those who work with them, to provide informed and effective research and advocacy 

  • facilitating training, mentoring, and leadership development

  • building connections between refugee-background communities and service providers signed up to the Wellington Regional Action Plan For Refugee Health and Wellbeing.
