Refugee Services Aotearoa-New Zealand supports refugees to settle in New Zealand. Staff and teams of volunteers assist refugees when the first arrive to set up life here.

Auckland Refugee Community Coalition

The Coalition advocates on issues of concern and interest to refugee communities and promotes programmes that support sustainable and integrated refugee resettlement.

ARMS

The Auckland Regional Migrant Services Charitable Trust (ARMS) supports migrants and refugees to settle successfully in the Auckland Region.

Refugee Council, Australia

The Refugee Council of Australia is a non-profit peak organisation. It provides information on and advocacy for refugees and humanitarian entrants in Australia on behalf of its member organisations. 

Refugee Council, UK

The Refugee Council is the largest organisation in the UK working with asylum seekers and refugees. It provides advice and support to those seeking refuge in the UK as well as advocate and lobby on issues that impact on resettlement.

Human Rights Commission, NZ

The Human Rights Commission works for a fair, safe and just society, where diversity is valued and human rights are respected.

Sierra Leone's Refugee All Stars

Sierra Leone's Refugee All Stars hit the charts in 2006 with their debut album, Living like a refugee. This powerful group of West African musicians was formed in a refugee camp during the Sierra Leone civil war, and are the stars of a documentary well worth seeing.

Radio NZ Interview

Radio New Zealand's Nine to Noon interviewer Kathryn Ryan talks to rapper Emmanuel Jal, once a boy soldier in Sudan now living in England. He campaigns to raise awareness of the war in Sudan and the plight of refugees.
